I know, I know. Believe it or not, we've been there too. Cleaning. is. hard. and the motivation for it is so hard to find. It likes to hide from us. it's hard to find the motivation OR the time, even, to clean your home. With everything going on in the busy momma's life, it seems that the last thing on your task list is to "clean the bathroom" or "dust the baseboards". It all seems pointless after the day is over, and then you wake up feeling a sense of urgency to get it all done at once- and, ya' burn out. This toxic cycle continues, until there is no room left for happy thoughts to coincide with the word 'cleaning'. We often associate our least favorite tasks with bad feelings. But if we want to change the way we feel about cleaning, we have to change the way we view it. Yes, this table will get completely dirty in 5 minutes after my kids eat lunch. But yes, it does make me feel good to know I am staying on top of things, and that my kids are eating on a table that's been sanitized. Turn cleaning into a hobby by simply finding a great podcast or an audiobook that you love. We're big fans of MWMH (ifykyk). 10 minutes is really all you need per day to keep on top of the things that really matter. We like to start with areas that get used the most. Here's an example of a list you can create:

Bathroom

wipe down toilet, inside and out

wipe down counter and mirror

wipe out sink

change the garbage

spray some no-rinse-needed cleaner in the tub and bam! you're done.

we've created some 10 minute cleaning guides for you busy ladies and mommas. and, we even included a recipe for a toilet BOMB- not the kind you're thinking, but think of it as a bath bomb for your toilet...you pop it in, and it does the cleaning for you. place it in daily and keep the bowl looking bodacious ;)
